Professional in this role will develop and update strategic and impactful communications plan including the publication plan in line with the overall brand strategy and tactics.
A broad range of both brand and therapy area communication materials including, but not limited to, brochures, sales aids, presentations, digital communications, KOL speaker presentations, management presentations, events, internal brand communications and training materials will also be developed by the Global Marketing Communications Manager.
Key duties and responsibilities of Global Marketing Communications Manager include :
Developing, communicating and executing the brand communication plan in line with overall brand strategies and tactics
Putting in place and updating the brand communications calendar and sharing with all stakeholders to ensure alignment;
global, regional, local, corporate, external as required
Directing the execution of the brand publication plan to support overall communication objectives
Development and / or directing content for speaker events, e.g. symposia, webcasts
Ensuring alignment of all brand communications and publication plans to the overall marketing strategy and plan for the brand to maximise commercial impact
Ensuring that the development and content of all marketing materials are aligned to the product / disease brand platform and provide / seek expert input as required
Planning and tracking all aspects of the communications budget, including handling vendor contracting / invoicing
Developing and tracking metrics that can measure the impact of the communications plan
To be successful in this role you need to have :
Advanced degree in life sciences, Doctorate level (PharmD, M.D. or Ph.D.) preferred but not required
Proven Marketing Communications experience
Experience of working closely with brand teams in a commercial environment and / or brand / marketing management experience
Experience in similar roles within Medtech or Pharma industry
Fluency in English and one other major European language
Ability to be independent, multitask and results oriented with hands-on attitude in a dynamic and high-energy environment
Excellent written and communication skills
Good project management experience and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Competent with digital communications, including digital sales enablement platforms (desirable)
Flare for understanding the voice of the customer and translating into communications
Ability to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues across functions and geographies
