Eden Scott's client is a UK charity that provides a wide range of support to people with learning disabilities and elderly people in care homes and private homes across the UK, including everything from a few hours help each week up to 24-hour support.
We are helping them to find a Tender / Bid Manager, with an exceptional eye for detail keen to take ownership of the end-
to-end bid process, ensuring that the organisation has the relevant service and business knowledge required to prepare a winning proposition with local authorities and the like.
This vital role will support the identification of new business leads and work closely with key stakeholders to promote existing services and support the development of new, innovative support models.
The post holder will participate in a supporting role in local commissioner meetings and build on those relationships to further support and identify potential business opportunities.
This role will also support the development of the organisation's fundraising strategy; driving community networks and advancing our organisation's social footprint.

Through propositional development support building competitive edge in the market place.
Work collaboratively with Regional Heads of Operations and Marketing teams to research potential growth opportunities, using this market intelligence to support decision making and future proof of proposition.
Support the management of new business opportunities, from qualification through to contract award by taking ownership of the tendering process for a range of service provisions.
Write, edit and proof read the information for tender submission for all business areas.
Develop a set of standard templates for less complex bids.
Develop computer-based document store and reference materials.
Play a key role in supporting the development of the organisation's fundraising strategy and drive forward new initiatives and projects to assist the long-term sustainability.
Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure that there is a consistently integrated approach across all volunteering activities, upholding and promoting the values of the organisation.
Identify, generate and grow charitable income to underpin the organisation's work in the community by managing a portfolio of funders and prospects, creatively stewarding existing relationships and maximising opportunities for giving.
Essential Professional Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Product or equivalent experience
Preferable : an understanding and experience in Care and Support or Health and Social Services
Excellent bid writing and communication skills
Able to travel extensively across the region (Scotland)
Good eye for detail and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ambitious, self-motivated and driven, personable, able to work alone and as part of a team.
Receptive to ideas and feedback.
Strong people and commercial skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and meet targets.
Proven entrepreneurial flair for social business.
