What you will do
Hitachi Heating and Cooling Solutions UK are focusing on the growth of the business and looking for an account manager to create long-term trusting relationships with our customers.
This will be through the development of close relationships with installing contractors, consultants, M&E companies and end user clients.
The primary role is to drive sales of our VRF, Chiller and Heating systems into the HVAC market through direct sales with contractors and a strong share of specification led project work through consultants.
This is a regional role to cover the South East and London. The candidate should be prepared to travel into London on a frequent basis along with areas outside to ensure the coverage of the region for the company.
How you will do it
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Provide design and application advice to customers promoting energy efficient solutions for their projects
Work closely with customers to negotiate contracts / projects and close agreements to maximise profits
Develop new business opportunities with existing clients and / or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
A proactive introduction of our product portfolio in order to assist in the decision-making process for clients i.e., provide run cost calculations, co2 calculations, installation requirements, features and benefits etc.
Present to customers covering the features and benefits of our product portfolio, CPD’s and other subjects such as legislation requirements
What we look for
Previous experience and track record in an account manager or area sales manager position.
Technical experience and knowledge of HVAC is essential.
Experience of design and application in air conditioning, chillers, heating and control systems with the ability to guide clients through design concepts as necessary.
Knowledge and understanding of current legislation.
Experience of presenting on both power point and system training to customers.
Ability to multitask several client requests at the same time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to use own initiative and high level of personal organisation.
IT literate good background of utilising Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Salesforce and Outlook.
