Job Title : Support Worker

Role Overview : -

As a Support Worker at BROCS outreach and day service you will work with people who have autism, Asperger’s syndrome and other varying degrees of learning disabilities.

You will promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities.

You will support people who wish to participate in home and living activities with the opportunity to practice their daily living skills in a supportive environment.

You will also support people with activities such as sensory, art, craft, music, movement and drama, gym and community outings.

As part of the role you will also support people in their own home, at work, in an educational setting or in the community meeting their wishes, interests and needs.

Requirements : -

Experience is necessary for this position, due to the needs of the people we suporrt. However, all of our staff will receive training for the needs of the people they support.

Drivers with own vehicle are required for this role as you will work between the day centre and community packages in the local area.

Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us.

Deducted from your final salary.
