The opportunity

Project : The Mace Defence business has undergone rapid growth since its inception. Today we advise a range of clients, including governments, front line commands and private sector defence organisations, where we advise on some of the most nationally significant projects.

Our service lines continue to grow as well, offering commercial, procurement, project management and project controls consultancy services, drawing on our cross-sector experience and priding ourselves on being able to bridge between strategy and delivering practical benefits to our clients.

At Mace Defence, our clients entrust our employees with great responsibility on significant programmes across the project lifecycle where you have the platform to make lasting, tangible improvements to clients’ organisations.

The programme is in a highly secure site and will require successful candidates to work in live and strictly controlled environments that are operating at the highest levels of safety and security.

Key responsibilities will include :

Providing project management support to Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Project Directors

Utilising various software packages to produce correspondence, documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases.

Capable of producing key project documents with guidance.

Capable of analysing data and reviewing and summarising reports / documents

Preparing minutes of the meeting and following up the actions.

Evaluating and reporting on all scheduling, cost and change controls for the project in conjunction with the project / PMO.

Assisting with the preparation of weekly and monthly client reports.

Maintain the Project Execution Plan.

Support development of Scope of Services

About You

Expertise in planning software and proficiency in using MS Office.

Demonstrating a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and able to communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high level manner.

Ability to work in a pressurised environment.

Results and quality focused individual.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, using a flexible pragmatic approach.

Enthusiastic and able to inspire others.

Ability to coordinate with the team.

Excellent communication skills

Ability to build excellent relationships with team and stakeholders.

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Management, Design related discipline or similar
