Bank Nurse

We’re looking for a qualified Bank Nurse with current NMC pin to work at Orchard house.

The Orders of St John Care Trust, is one of the largest Not for Profits Care providers in the UK specialising in providing relationship-centred care for older people in nursing, residential and independent living homes.

Nestled in the town ofBishops Cleeve,liesOrchard Houseoffering residential, nursing and respite care to 50 residents

It’s a varied role and you may expect to develop a care plan, provide medicine safely, oversee the care team plus deliver nursing care to our residents.

You will have the ability to understand and manage the complexities of the multitude of clinical and psychological factors that affect the health and well-being of our elderly residents, whilst in turn supporting their families.

  • What else we’re looking for :

    Experience of producing well developed care plans and risk assessments is important too, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs and MCA.

    Plus experience or willingness to train in :

  • Catheterisation
  • Syringe drivers
  • PEG feeding
  • Verification of Death
  • Venepuncture
  • Blood monitoring
  • Plus understanding of aseptic technique, epilepsy, sepsis
