We are currently recruiting an AssistantManagement Accountant to join us, working for our East Yorkshire office in Doncaster,Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the AssistantManagement Accountant will contribute towards the monthly management accountsand assist in monthly forecasting of profit and cash.
The business will offerACCA / CIMA study support for anyone who wants to become a qualified accountant.
Linden Homes aretransitioning to a new business software system called COINS and initially therole will be required to support the testing and implementation phase withtransactional processing and data migration.
This will provide a greatopportunity to gain experience and familiarity with the new system andprocesses
Posting monthly journals
Contributing towards monthly management accounts
Completing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
Assist weekly reporting
Providing key reports for internal and external stakeholders on a monthly basis
Budget and forecast preparation
Supervise implementation, maintenance and use of company IT
Other duties asrequired by the Head of Finance and Financial Controller
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an accounting environment.
AAT Qualified or equivalent degree level education.
IT literate including strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Highly analytical and logical thinker.
Strong communication skills.
Able to be proactive andwork towards tight deadlines.
