New & exciting permanent opportunities in Foston

Our busy and rapidly expanding client in Foston are currently looking for up to five CAT C+E HGV night drivers to join them on a permanent basis.

Our clients are currently looking for motivated and experienced CAT C+E HGV night drivers who are seeking a new opportunity with stability, good hours and the option of nights out if available.

Opening in 1959, our client has grown in speciality beginning with tyres, food, and palletised distribution across the nation, and are now looking to recruit due to expansion.

Your role will include but not be exhausted to

  • General palletised distribution
  • Make sure the vehicle is safe for the journey ahead
  • To represent our client both on the road and a customer locations in a friendly, timely and professional manner
  • Deliver goods as per the manifest sheet
  • Obtain customer signature as proof of delivery
  • Completion of daily default report of vehicle
  • Communicate with transport office staff
  • Vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness & compliance with VOSA regulations
  • Compliance with SSOW & other H&S requirements
  • Completion of defect reporting of trailers
  • Upload trailers in a safe & efficient manner taking in all H&S aspects
  • Ensuring vehicles are loaded in a safe manner & goods are secured appropriately

    • Please note you will be required from time to time to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager

    In return for your hard work & dedication you will receive

  • £12.00 per hour PAYE
