    Location

    Burges Salmon, is based in Bristol’s city centre 2 minutes stroll from Temple Meads train station. Here, you will be in the heart of Bristol with easy access to some of the best attractions the city has to offer, including the theatre, shopping, restaurants, museums and art galleries.

    We are also interested in hearing from Scottish-qualified lawyers who would like to grow their careers in our ground-breaking new Edinburgh office.

    Our Scottish team will be fully integrated with our existing business and so some travel to Bristol will be required.

    You will advise on cutting edge projects in the UK and overseas, working with our finance and corporate lawyers to enable complex construction, redevelopment and infrastructure projects to come to fruition.

    Depending on your skills and experience, you will work on projects in the energy sector, road and rail. In addition to providing top quality legal advice, you will play a part in developing our practice.

    Requirements

    You will need to be a qualified Lawyer and able to practice in the England & Wales jurisdication.

    We look for individuals who have developed themselves and their capabilities, coupled with strong commercial and legal potential and relevant experience.

    You will have proven experience in innovative and interesting contracts and projects, both nationally and internationally in defence, energy and environment projects, procurement, transport or work.

    You will be a strong team player, able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and be self-motivated.

    We value a collaborative approach to work and therefore you will be a team player, comfortable with taking instruction and leading others.
