Fast Track Trainee Manager
Are you seeking a new role that will allow you to learn and develop your management skills? Our Trainee Manager Programme could be just the opportunity that you are looking for.
Whilst completing a Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship you will support a number of Depot and Assistant Manager’s in leading and inspiring their teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
You will do this by building strong relationships with the local trade, and confidently ensure the smooth running of the depot in your Depot Managers absence.
Following the successful completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship, there may also be the opportunity to progress further through a Higher Apprenticeship.
You develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to :
Manage the customer experience and drive your team to deliver a positive experience to our customers
Establish and communicate to your team in a style that is relevant and delivers the results to meet business requirements
Support your teams contribution towards success
Plan, do and review both your performance and the teams to drive improvements
Own your personal development and plan to meet the requirements of the Level 3 Management qualification
Provide your team with clear direction in a style that is adapted for each situation and person, whilst providing support and identifying & resolving conflict
Use a variety of sales techniques resulting in achievement of targets through team performance
Display and promote products and services effectively, understand how they meet consumer trends, and create compelling displays & offers which attract additional business
Skills & personal qualities
Must be mobile and willing to travel (Driving License Essential)
You think commercially
Must be adaptable to new situations and teams
Have excellent customer service skills
Able to communicate effectively at all levels
Is it essential that you have Maths and English GCSE at Grade A C or 9-4, and able to provide evidence of that achievement
Educated to Level 3 or A Level Standard is desirable
Previous experience of working in a retail or trade counter environment is desirable
