Nonstop's client,with Outstanding Ofsted based in North-East London, is looking for a Team Manager in their Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)Hub within the Family Intervention Team who can make a meaningful difference to their children
A recent Outstanding Ofsted i nspection stated that "it is a flexible, multi-skilled service that is highly successful in providing a preventative service for children with the highest levels of need .
This highly successful service prevents children from becoming looked after unnecessarily and protects children from some of the highest risks.
It offers a proactive and empowering model for families, including the effective use of family group conferences. Current development work includes a sophisticated exploitation mapping process.
The impact of the FIT service was commented on very positively by the local judiciary."
You will be joining a well established Multi Agency CSE Hub with the comfort of joining a team that ensure an effective multi-agency response to the prevention and protection of children at risk of CSE.
The Hub was set up to ensure that there is a robust response to children who are at risk of or have been sexually exploited.
The Hub has continued to expand and develop following internal and external serious case reviews and learning from other organisations , which allows you to continuously develop and improve your career while staying motivated and keep up with the standards of the authority
They give a commitment to offering a work life balance by maintaining caseloads at an appropriate level, ensuring yours are given opportunities to work effectively and robustly without the stress
The team ethos is to ensure children are fully supported. You will be working closely with Functional Family Therapists specifically with service users who maybe exploited by gangs as a part of a new trial which is the first team to be established outside the USA
The ideal candidate for this post will be a well experienced (level 3 social worker), with managerial experience who has direct experience in working with CSE and / or CP teams / CSE caseloads / Court Work Perseverance is often required when working with this complex and challenging case work.
The Hub has seen lots of positive changes from the interventions used.
