The RBWM strategy has a stated objective to make HSBC an upper quartile / decile provider of digital services to RBWM customers.
Over the next 5 years this strategy will increase the percentage of Digitally active RBWM customers in excess of 500% (c.70% from current 15%).
As part of HSBC’s RBWM Digital Strategy, markets continue to build their local digital teams and capability to build world class digital products and features as well as ensure we maximise our opportunities for customer engagement through our digital channels and staff.
The Tag Management Platform Lead is responsible for the management and development of a team of Tag Developers who are responsible for designing and maintaining the tag implementation approach within the Tag Management System.
Impact on Business
Defining, implementing and maintaining the operating procedures for Tag Management within the bank.
Prioritisation of support requests / tickets for Tag Management related issues.
Maintenance of the global support site for Tag Management.
Problem solving Tagging issues with Product Development teams that can’t be resolved by the Tag Developers.
Governance of decision making about what information is made available to which libraries within the Tag Management system.
Fast turnaround time achieved by Tag Managers for the deployment of approved tags Reduction in risk from 3rd Party Tags from proper management in Tag Management System.
Must Have :
Experienced team builder and manager
Proven experience with Tealium Tag Management Solution and Data layer creation and management
Experience with configuration, management and usage of digital analytics solutions (Webtrends / Adobe / GA etc.)
Understanding of marketing tec hnologies and digital advertising measurement
Understanding of agile delivery principles and quality software engineering processes and practices
Strong understanding of Digital business, while experience with travel, lifestyle, and / or other consumer product development is a strong advantage.
Ideally Have :
Proven ability to manage third party partners both in partnership development, and ongoing partner management
Possess a blend of business and technical savvy; ability to drive strategy into action
An entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen
Proven ability to build strong relationship across stakeholder groups with the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organisation.
Customer focussed, results based approach, able to deliver to deadlines
Demonstrates flexibly when addressing
Shifting or competing priorities.
Proven ability to influence large teams without direct leadership authority.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferable.
Strong Analytical and Presentation skills.
