In this role based remotely throughout East Anglia, you have the opportunity to provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of digital X-Ray equipment.
Working collaboratively with the wider organization to provide exceptional service to our customers, your services will include corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment, and software & hardware upgrades to products both on-site and remotely.
You are responsible for :
Providing field based and remote technical support to customers and colleagues in line with relevant training and experience
Carry out Corrective, Preventative, installation and Field Change order activities on complex healthcare systems
Diagnose mechanical, hardware and software system failures using established procedures and information
Determine most cost effective repair / solution to minimise customer downtime
Actively participate in an ongoing rotation with the Remote support team, providing customers with direct remote support
You are a part of a team of 20 collaborative Field Service Engineers, reporting directly to your Service Delivery Manager.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience :
Experienced logical problem solver with ability to work independently
Experienced in carrying out corrective and preventative works for Interventional X-Ray devices and equipment, ideally
Degree in Electro-mechanical engineering highly desirable
The ability to process knowledge across multi-modality and diverse product ranges
Recognize new technologies and adapts to daily challenges
Deliver high levels of customer service
Competent in IT / Network diagnosis / system connectivity / Remote service desirable
