About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Administrator to join our Plant & Fleet business unit to work in Derby.

What you'll be doing

As a Service Desk Administrator , you will :

  • Accurately capture and monitor through to resolution HGV Helpdesk incidents, working closely with the Delivery team to minimise downtime and maximise customer satisfaction;
  • Assist with the administration and up keep of the Fleet Management System vehicle records, specifically relating to locations, cost codes, order numbers and driver details;
  • Conduct regular, proactive data reconciliations to determine the accuracy of Service Desk records, correcting any anomalies to reduce the risk of incorrect information being shared;
  • Develop a relationship with the Customer, and provide them with regular reporting relevant to the Service Desk function;
  • Provide prompt resolution to any disputes raised by the Customer, liaising with all relevant parties to reach an agreed outcome.
  • Ensuring on-going records are amended to reduce the risk of repeat.

    You will :

  • Have strong communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills;
  • Be capable of prioritising your workload ensuring you deliver what is required within the given timescales;
  • Demonstrate a tenacious approach to problem solving; investigating all appropriate avenues until such time that resolution is reached.
