Job Introduction

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen in Europe’s leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. We are looking for an experienced Third Line Analyst who will join a large team supporting diverse and geographically spread Wintel customer environments.

Role Responsibility

The key responsibilities of the role include :

  • Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms
  • Offering solutions and workarounds to incidents / problems
  • Working to SLA’s and deadlines
  • Review of services and application delivery
  • Prioritising and managing several tasks at a single time
  • Establishing a good working relationship with wider teams and customers alike
  • Keep up to date with advancements in technology
  • Work with a variety of customers to gain a detailed understanding of their requirements
  • Providing Remote On-Call Out of Hours Support
  • Willingness to Travel (Infrequent)
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012, including clustering
  • Designing, developing and deploying of technologies on Windows Platforms
  • Active Directory experience : ADFS, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Domains, Forrest, Domain Controller Roles, DNS, Permission Models, Delegation, Trust relationships, LDAP / ADSI, Kerberos and Schemas
  • Cloud Computing Azure AD Connect, AD Sync
  • Understands the interdependency between Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
  • PKI and Certificate Management
  • Microsoft Forefront suite (FIM)
  • Quest Tools (Active Roles, Change Auditor, Migration Manager, Recovery Manager)
  • Anti-virus technologies (SEP, SCEP, SPE McAfee)
  • Server Hardware including Cisco UCS
  • Scripting (PowerShell)
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Exposure to Citrix technologies
  • Exposure to Virtualisation technologies
  • Exposure Messaging technologies
