Our client is seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer - camera calibration
Our clients Chassis & Safety division develops and produces integrated active and passive driving safety technologies as well as products that support vehicle dynamics.
The focus lies on a high level of system competence and the networking of individual components.
Thus products and system functions are developed along the SensePlanAct chain of effects.
They form the foundation for automated driving.

Role responsibilities :
Implementation of computer vision algorithms in MatLab and C++.
Topics are focused around camera calibration, but may include various approaches such as tracking algorithms, geometry, structure from motion.
Responsibility for algorithm design and evaluation of pre existing algorithm approaches.
Optimisation of software for embedded devices
Continual improvement of algorithms through automated and live testing in vehicles
Ensure the quality of the delivered software
Interaction with team members across multiple sites and OEM teams as directed by their team leader
Work as part of our clients S / W development team, in co operation with their algorithm development team
Participate in software / algorithm design and in peer software code review.
Embedded software implementation and Software optimisation.
Report on progress to team leader, highlighting any risks / issues early to their team leader.
Experience required :
At least five years experience in development of software for embedded commercial applications.
Project Experience : Ideally automotive S / W development experience.
C / C++ programming skills.
Experienced working with version control systems (GIT / SVN).
Makefile systems (make, CMake).
Ideally has experience of working in a multi site, multi -country organisation.
Fluent English language skills, German an advantage but not essential.
Good degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Maths or Physics (MSc or PhD preferred)
