Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people.
With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide.
We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.
We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport.
We are looking for CAREGivers to assist the elderly with non-medical services including companionship, home help and personal care in their own homes.
No experience is required as we provide full training but you must have transport to enable you to travel between our clients homes.
If you think you could offer care, friendship and reliability to clients who may struggle to cope with getting up in the mornings, or preparing their own meals, or trips to the shops then please contact us.
Our CAREGivers spend quality time with our clients forming a special relationship with minimum visits lasting one hour and this enables them to help with such things as :
Personal Care - To wash, dress and prepare themselves for the day. Sometimes this may involve assisting with changing incontinence pads, so we need people who are happy to offer this service.
Home Help - To assist with house-keeping and cooking, visits to the shops and accompanying the client to Doctor's appointments.
Companionship - To take the client out perhaps to a garden centre or for a walk, maybe to take them to a local social event or to our Dementia Cafe that we run in Digswell, or simply to have a good gossip.
We offer very comprehensive award winning training covering everything you will need to know and understand to excel in the performance of your duties, so a willingness to learn is essential.
You must have your own transport.
You must have clear and concise verbal communication skills.
You must have an abundance of common sense.
You must be willing to work between 15-20 hours per week covering mixed shifts from 8.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 10.00pm and also alternate weekends.
