For this position, we are looking for an investment fund lawyer focusing on investment structures.

The role can be based from multiple locations such as Zug, Switzerland, London, Luxembourg, Paris, Milan or Munich

Partners Group’s structuring team is responsible for developing innovative investment structures and funds for institutional and private investors globally.

Structuring professionals regularly interact with the firm’s client relationship management, investment and operations teams as well as with clients, external professionals and regulators.

Representative projects include, for example, the establishment of investment vehicles (limited partnerships and other investment funds, namely Luxembourg structures), design and formation of bespoke investment structures, review of regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, MiFID), negotiation of customized client mandates and participation in marketing meetings.

Responsibilities :

  • Efficiently manage complex structuring projects from an operational and project management aspect
  • Draft and / or review documentation relating to investment structures
  • Assume responsibility and ownership for select funds, including maintenance and related processes and procedures
  • Drive regular and complex / non-standard client conversions and mandates with highest level of autonomy, pro-actively follow up with marketers (front), service providers and clients
  • Bring a well-established and diversified set of skills and develop excellent general PG know-how and can identify best available solutions for clients (after consultation with the respective (Senior) Member of Management) whilst being mindful about onboarding and operational feasibility
  • Instruct and manage external legal advisors and other service providers
  • Lead projects and initiatives with highest autonomy, all challenges / requests escalated come with a concrete, thought-through proposal how to appropriately address it
  • Significantly support business development efforts within his / her region
  • Be considered a superior PG role model within and beyond team
  • Contribute to the successful onboarding of new professionals in team
  • What we expect

  • Qualified professional with 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Top academic credentials in law, business administration or finance
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual with strong desire to learn and succeed
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and project management skills to manage multiple projects at any one time
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external parties
  • Excellent English language skills, additional languages (especially French, German or Italian) are a plus
