Local Unit & Position Description

Advisory is a single department of 200 plus people. The Advisory department consists of three sections (Enterprise Risk, Safety Risk & Gas Technology).

The role of the Consultant sits within Enterprise Risk and will be based in Manchester but there will also be a requirement to travel extensively in the UK and occasionally overseas for the client-related work.

Key Services provided by Enterprise Risk include but not limited to the following :

  • Due Diligence on behalf of investors relating to acquisition and divestments;
  • Data Analytics;
  • Operational Excellence;
  • Management system consulting;
  • Functional Safety.
  • Key Accountabilities :

  • Manage the delivery of multiple projects;
  • Draw conclusions and develop recommendations for our clients;
  • Support and contribute to the sales process for the Enterprise Risk unit including bid development;
  • Managing internal and external communications on technical matters;
  • Actively seeking to improve delivery processes through innovation.
  • Position Qualifications

  • Between 2 and 6 years experience within the Oil & Gas, Utilities or Energy industry;
  • Willing to operate and excel in a Doer Seller model;
  • Degree in Engineering (minimum 2 : 1). Preferably in Chemical engineering;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Excellent verbal communications skills ability to communicate with all levels in an organisation;
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills;
  • Flexible attitude to working in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary environment;
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to work outside your comfort zone;
  • Be open to working with clients both in and outside the UK;
  • Willing to work out of different offices in the UK to rapidly expand skills and company service knowledge.
  • Full training will be provided to not only enhance technical knowledge but also in areas such as Project Management & Sales Development.
