Job Summary

The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Administrator’s role is to work within the SHI ITAM Services Department to assist in facilitating all aspects of the ITAM and Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycle to support SHI customers.

The successful candidate will support various aspects of the day-to-day normal business of the department. The ITAM Administrator will utilize all of the department’s tools, processes to support the departments License / Data Analysts and Inventory Engineers, and is an ideal training ground to gain the foundational experience for a future position within the ITAM Department.

The role will require flexibility to support the ITAM department and SHI customer’s business needs and working hours. It is expected that this role will require occasional travel both nationally and internationally.

This position is required to report to the SHI Milton Keynes location.

Responsibilities / Job Function

Include but not limited to : Execute all ITAM Administrator tasks as directed by the ITAM department. Analyze purchase records and other entitlement information (including contracts) Research and understand Product Use Rights, license allowances, and contractual entitlements for software products and manufacturers (with a specialty in one or more manufacturers).

Assists customers in the collection, cleanse / normalization, and management of software discovery and inventory information.

Process all data via ITAM department standard tools and systems. Normalize raw software records to create master software titles Contribute and / or create process documentation where applicable Collect and manage SAM-

related information from SHI, customers, and software manufacturers. Ensures all work is conducted professionally, ethically, and in a manner consistent with SHI quality standards.

Will travel as required by the position
