Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a specialist SEN Support Assistant to work in a Therapeutic Provision in Chorley.
The school’s approach mirrors that of a traditional care home but considers the significant special educational needs of the pupils.
The school provides residential care and a school environment for their pupils and aim to support them and remove barriers to their learning.
Through a personalised and highly personalised curriculum, each student should achieve their full potential.
The role includes working as 1 : 1 support for a child with SEMH Difficulties and help them to achieve by encouraging a sense of identity and developing their communicational skills.
The school would be interested in a candidate who has previous experience supporting children who display challenging behaviours.
They would also consider applications from Sports Coaches, Carers, Residential support workers, Youth Workers and those with the experience within the Prison system or the Military.

The pay for this role is £10.50 per hour.
