Job summary The purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day advice to business stakeholders to support their inbound and outbound talent transfers.
The job holder will be responsible for supporting the Authorising Officer for the Iqvia sponsorship licence(s) and ensure the Company has the right processes and policies in place to comply with the UK and Irish immigration requirements.
Responsibilities Key responsibilities of the role will be to : + Manage inbound and outbound UK and Ireland immigration cases, including a variety of applications under the Points based System (PBS) with a focus on Tier 2 applications in partnership with an external immigration vendor (Newland Chase).
Achieve consistently high satisfaction ratings from both business clients and transferees+ Advise on business visitor and student / graduate visas+ Offer expert advice in all matters related to UK and Ireland immigration to both the business and HR stakeholders+ Develop and implement best practice immigration policies and processes across Iqvia UK& Ireland geography to ensure compliance with immigration requirements+ Regularly identify and interpret changes to UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) rules and guidance, advise across the Company where changes to policies and procedures are required to enable Iqvia to fully comply with UKVI rules and guidance and its sponsorship duties+ Ensure internal and external systems are constantly updated and records maintained as required+ Manage UK and Ireland immigration audits of all legal requirements and local practices, including implementation of process improvements to meet necessary standards+ Devise and deliver regular training and communications on process or legislation in regard to corporate immigration.
Experience Job holder will have comprehensive knowledge and recent experience of interpreting and advising on UK and Ireland rules on right to work and immigration with proven experience of developing and / or reviewing administrative processes to meet immigration requirements.
Additionally, job holder will have experience of providing organisational policy advice to various levels of staff across a complex organisation.
Experience of conducting immigration compliance audits is also a must.Key skills and attributes for this role include : + A minimum of 3-5 years of corporate immigration experience+ Extensive experience with management of Tier 2 applications and the wider PBS system+ Sound technical knowledge of UK & Ireland immigration law.
