In a nutshell, our Customer Care Team ensure that every McDonald's customer has a brilliant experience, every time they visit.

The main priorities for the team are cleanliness and friendliness. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all the restaurant’s customer areas including the car park, toilets as well as the seating area and ensuring all customers feel at home on our dining areas.

  • As the restaurant is not open yet for trading ALL TRAINING will be provided at our neighbouring restaurants in Shrewsbury or Newtown.

    You must be able to travel to one of these restaurants in order to complete your training - if you are unable to travel please be sure to check out our hiring site again after the restaurant has opened.

    A franchised restaurant is a restaurant operated by a local business person trading under the McDonald's name. Currently over 80% of our restaurants in the UK are franchised but from a customer point of view there's no difference.

    For employees there will be minor differences between a company and a franchised restaurant. Please refer to additional information for more details.

    What can you get out of it?

    As a Customer Care Assistant, you will get the opportunity to interact with our diverse customer base daily allowing you to build rapport and encourage our customers to want to come back again and again.

    There is also scope within the role to organise charity fundraisers, community events and also take part in fun days with trained professionals from our hospitality team.

    There are also progression opportunities and the opportunity to earn while you learn by completing a hospitality apprenticeship.
