Purpose of Position :
The purpose of this position is to optimize the profitability and revenue of Volvo and Mack Trucks Aftermarket parts for Mexico and Export markets.
This role is responsible for recommending and managing parts pricing strategies while providing a high level of support to the dealers and sales organization.
Profitability provide an optimal pricing strategy to drive profitability in the market. Perform portfolio analysis on key product groups and manage a competitive study over the region.
Reporting / Opportunities Use data to provide sales & profitability reports in order to measure growth against the target KPIs.
Leverage reports for profit findings.
Deal management support field with right level of concession policies / discount strategies to assure minimal margin erosion as well as realizing high revenue potential.
Dealer Support process dealer pricing requests and claim discrepancies.
Conduct two price books per year for the market to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Set targets for price and margin realization, communicate targets and follow-up on performance.
Support and drive pricing system improvements together with IT and Process Team.
Business development 40%
Collaborate with the commercial team to define the business strategy for Aftermarket Parts.
Support the region with business case studies and facilitate marketing coordination.
Project management collaborate with IT, sales, and management to implement new pricing strategies, programs, and processes for the market.
Drive continuous improvements along with process and product areas to grow the aftermarket parts business
The job requires close collaboration with the Mexico & Export regions in order to develop and grow the markets.
Critical Competencies :
Must speak, read, and write Spanish and English fluently. Entry and / or intermediate level Spanish will not be accepted.
Thorough understanding of price and margin calculations.
Strong PC skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite of products Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience with Business Intelligence tools is required PowerBI, Qlikview, and / or SAP Business Objects.
A positive and customer-oriented mind set.
Ability to work cross functionally and strong competency in multicultural project management. This job requires close cross-collaboration with both US and Export teams (Controlling, Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, Bus Pricing, IT)

Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications and Certificates :
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge :
5 years’ experience in pricing, sales, marketing, engineering, or finance.
Experience with developing and managing database structures and systems.
Experience working on foreign markets or with an international team.
Industry and product knowledge of heavy duty trucks and aftermarket products.
Other Requirements :
Occasional travel required.
