My Client currently requires a General Manager to join the team at one of their medium sized nursing homes in Glasgow, G74.

They are looking for a strong qualified manager who is dedicated to the care industry and has a proven track record in managing homes.

The home specialises in elderly general nursing & dementia. The company that owns the home has other homes UK wide. It isn’t a corporate company but a charitable organisation that prides itself on the delivery of personalised care and looks after its staff well.

You will be a hands on operational manager who enjoys a front facing and supportive managerial role. You will be responsible for all aspects of managing the home from care plans, audits, staff management and recruitment, budgets, liaising with CQC and external bodies amongst other related duties.

You must have experience in :

Managing Nursing Homes and a proven track record of this

Clear understanding of the company’s brand and what the service expectations are

Understanding the customers journey

Manage a Good’ rated home

Working with the elderly / dementia

As all homes this home needs stability so my client really needs a dedicated and committed individual who buys into the organisation and ethos.

You do not have to be a qualified nurse but have experience in and be comfortable managing clinical staff.

They are offering a salary of £52,530.00 plus other company benefits.
