For more information, please visit risk.lexisnexis.com / group and www.relx.com. SUMMARY This is a position in Software Engineering performing moderate research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.

The position will mainly work on Cloud based solutions, being responsible for maintenance, new feature and enhancements. QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience required TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Programming
  • Sound knowledge of Microservice Architecture
  • Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to : Java / J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL
  • Strong knowledge of SPRING framework
  • Knowledge of JUNIT and Mockito framework for unit tests (or similar frameworks)
  • Sound knowledge of Microservice Architecture
  • Sound experience working on AWS hosted solutions
  • Experience working with Kubernetes orchestrator
  • Experience working with Docker containerization
  • Sound knowledge of React Javascript framework
  • Familiarity of industry best practices code coverage.
  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Basic knowledge of data manipulation languages.
  • Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
  • Knowledge of behavioral and test driven development.
  • Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Basic oral and written communications skills. ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
  • Complete simple bug fixes.
  • Work closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
  • Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical issues as necessary.
  • Keep abreast of new technology developments.
