To lead the HSBC Securities Services (HSS) Regional and US DomesticCustody product to achieve strategic business objectives and maximise thelong-term bottom line contribution of the US Domestic Custody product to HSBCSecurities Services globally, while maintaining a focus on the associated riskof all potential product changes / additions.

The 3 key activities in achieving this are 1 Domestic US and Regional Custody business and product management, 2 product escalation point of the HSS Custody Operations Service unit, and 3 being front and centre in the industry proactively attending industry consultations, seminars, and seeking leading roles in locally formed working groups.
Responsible for setting, managing, and reporting of annual budgets and cost management targets for the business. Develop and drive global best service standards adopted from across the branch network through close and co-operative relationships with other branches, product head office, and the Affiliates to maximise consistency of process in Custody Operations Regionally.

By driving retention strategy of the product, retaining all existing business and contributing to new business targets by continually assessing, improving, and adding to the service offering.
By establishing strong and influential relationships with Operations, HSS Americas management, and across the Product global headquarters in London and Hong Kong.
By overseeing the development of differentiated service or addition to the product offering in line with clients expectations, with the solutions being robust, re-usable, and efficient.
Measured by the achievement of revenue targets. Ensure the product is managed in an efficient operational environment without compromising on high service standards.

By supporting the build of a strong and knowledgeable team, providing ongoing development and coaching. Measure - obtaining high satisfaction levels in surveys from Affiliates, 3rd party asset managers and strategic clients achieving higher ratings in industry surveys than competitors, making demonstrable advances in development of service.
By active participation in industry organisations and forums. Measure effective senior-level support is given to business initiatives to influence industry change where required.
