We are looking for a passionate Advocacy Manager to join an exciting and well-established business in the insurance sector on a 12 months contract basis.
Reporting to the Head of Communications and managing the Advocacy Assistant, you will be responsible to develop and drive cross-organizational advocacy projects promoting diversity in the insurance sector.

Collaborating with colleagues on advocacy projects and issues. You'll devise the strategy for these projects and coordinate the operational delivery and ensure cross organisation support
Chairing the organisation's Talent and Diversity Network, providing industry insight and useful points of member engagement to shape their work.
Produce the regular network newsletter.
Managing the organisation's Talent and Diversity data collection to showcase member efforts in this area
Owning the Future Leaders Programme, moving forward the programme of activity for 2020
Producing an annual member review and mid-year review.
Overseeing the production of the Director General's key member communication
Prior stakeholder, communications or marketing campaigns experience
Ability to produce written work of a high quality
Strong networking skills, with the ability to identify key relationships and to build influential relationships with members and stakeholders.
Ability to lead, line manage and effectively delegate to a team, as well as lead and take ownership of a broad and varied remit.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate and deliver collaborative work.
Ability to build strong working relationships and to interact effectively with senior colleagues, providing advice and insight with regards to your area of expertise.
Strong oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to clearly articulate arguments supported by convincing evidence.
