To provide support to the Healthcare business where it is most needed and where projects or initiatives require implementation support.
The development, review, and maintenance of all key HSEQ processes across the UK Business.
Works to implement UK HSEQ strategy, policy, business plans within the organisation on HSEQ matters.
Work within and develop / maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) in conjunction with the UK Team
Proactively develop safety, health, wellness programmes in conjunction with the Healthcare and UK HSEQ Teams
Engage and work with healthcare management teams to create a strong culture which recognises ownership of HSEQ at all levels
Deliver specific HSEQ projects to the business sectors as appropriate.
Work with the Safety Leader and Safety Hero network to drive engagement across all business functions
To identify areas where improvement or enhancement is necessary and to propose a suitable business case for these changes.
Professional and personal competencies / qualifications
Wide ranging experience in a HSEQ role within a complex organisation.
Expertise in HSEQ relating to Facilities Management, particularly hard services and working in multi-site operation. Healthcare experience desirable.
Proven ability to provide the level of support, that delivery of this role will require.
Robust non-authoritarian collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and persuade without any direct line authority
A passion for HSEQ and the ability to inspire a culture where HSEQ is an embedded part of everyday operations
Ability to communicate at all levels to influences key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.
