What we need

We are actively seeking a MOM Functional Analyst to be based in our Royston Office on a contract basis.

The MOM Functional Analyst role will be responsible for the creation of the User Requirements Specification, Gap Analysis for the core MOM templates, including business process mapping and definition, functional, non-

functional and technical requirements across multiple sites globally for the Design and Build of multiple global MOM templates.

In addition, the provisioning of Implementation Guidance support :

Provision of specialist MOM Functional Analyst services to the project including Requirements Elicitation & Analysis, Use-

case definition, User Testing, Business Change and User Training

Establishment of close working relationships with all the key parties in order to understand business needs and business rules to assist in delivering business change as required

Close involvement / support for the validation and embedding stage of any new systems, managing communication and leading the training and competency assessment of new users

Support of the operation to ensure that sufficient levels of competence in the system are sustained

Experience with BPMN and UML Activity diagrams.

Key responsibilities

Analysis and understanding of a range of systems and their alignment with business strategy, business process, business mapping / modelling and requirements definition.

These systems include but are not restricted to :

Manufacturing Execution Systems

Manufacturing Operations Management systems

Business Intelligence

Analysing and understanding the current state processes to ensure that the context and implications of the change are understood by the clients and the project team.

Lead or participate in user requirements and business process workshops with BPO’s, Users & SME’s

Lead or participate in the Business Process Re-engineering workshops and identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability

Working with the client to prioritize and rationalize the requirements

Translate clients requirements into highlty specified project briefs

Identify gaps and localisations between the MOM Core template and the local site’s manufacturing processes, including MOM functionality, where it’s being deployed

Producing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems

Are you the ideal candidate?

You will have :

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practice

Experience in Manufacturing and Business Process Analysis

Training / Coaching experience

High level of numeracy and analysis skills, some statistical understanding would be advantageous

Experiences gathering and documenting system requirements.

Experience training and supporting the shop floor in new ways of working

Competent in the use and support of Microsoft Office Suite including word processing, spreadsheet, and project management tools and Visio

High energy level and enthusiasm. Ability to transmit a positive attitude to change

High level of self-motivation with good time management

Negotiating and influencing skills and must be diplomatic when needed

Good presentation skills

Good Business writing skills
