Croydon, GB.

One of our leading special needs schools based in Croydon are currently recruiting for experienced youth mentors to work on a full-time and long-term basis, as classroom assistants for the start of the new term in January.

The school is a multi-site provision and caters to both Primary and Secondary aged pupils that have social, emotional and mental health, as well as challenging behaviour.

Due to the needs of the children, the classroom sizes are small, with up to a maximum of 8 children in each class. You will be expected to assist the children alongside the class Teacher and be able to offer them the additional support and guidance that they may need.

Therefore, previous experience of having worked in a care or support working environment is preferred, but not essential.

This role is for a January start, working from Monday-Friday from 8 : 30am to 4pm. It is an excellent, long-term opportunity for anyone that is looking to get into the special needs or childcare field.

We are able to provide you with guaranteed work in your local area alongside your very own personal consultant.

If you are looking for a new, rewarding challenge, this one is for you. Please apply today, and all successful candidates will be contacted within 3-5 working days.
