BT has invested in a number of industry leading sales tools & systems to enable sales productivity through efficient and effective selling activities.

The vision of the sales tools & systems team is to provide the strategy and governance for Enterprise sales tools & systems (including data within the sales tools & systems), enabling sales to sell efficiently & effectively.

This is achieved through performing the capture, identification, design & delivery management, optimization, and governance of process capabilities (and data) within sales tools & systems categorized as systems of record, systems of engagement, and systems of intelligence (analysis & insight).

Sales tools & systems include salesforce, CPQ, UKB / Agent Desktop, Partner Gateway, etc

The purpose of this role is to enable sales to sell product propositions efficiently and effectively through configure-price-

quote process capabilities designed, developed, and deployed within the CPQ sales tools & systems

Ensures trading reliability for Enterprise sales channels using deployed process capabilities within CPQ sales tools

Translates lead-to-order and configure-price-quote process demand into functional / technical design of capability within the CPQ sales tools & systems

Leads the design of process capabilities and data within the CPQ sales tools & systems for development and release

Ensures CPQ tools are designed for consistency of process capabilities across Enterprise channels (where possible)

Ensures CPQ is designed to configure rather than code design principles

Ensures development teams develop within CPQ to specified functional / technical designs

Inputs into the CPQ strategy for Enterprise sales channels

What you'll be doing

Translates the prioritized requirement demand of configure-price-quote processes into functional / technical design within CPQ tools

Designs the functional / technical capability of configure-price-quote process capabilities within CPQ tools Configure-Price-

Quote, Contract Management, Forecasting, Order Management

Prototypes functional / technical designs within CPQ development sandboxes

Specifies and / or documents functional / technical designs for CPQ development

Provides functional / technical guidance and quality assurance to deployment & in-life operations

Provides input into best practice use of CPQ

Leads design and / or Agile development teams

Working closely with sales tools & systems work-streams (requirements, design, optimization & innovation, deployment & in-life operations)

We'll also need to see these on your CV

Give Specialised Advice - Offers expert advice on subject expertise building rapport with stakeholders as a trusted advisor.

Knowledge of commercial sales productivity drivers (revenue, margin, cost of sale, cost to serve), and the efficiency and effectiveness levers which influence sales force productivity Knowledge of BT / Telco product families (Mobile, Voice, and Access / Connectivity) and the product propositions.

Knowledge of Enterprise sales channels. Knowledge of lead-to-order process journey’s across New / Provide, Modify, Renewal.

Knowledge of lead-to-order process capabilities for desk and field sales teams (i.e. Territory Management, Lead Generation, Lead Management, Contact Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Configure-

Price-Quote, Contract Management, Activity Management, Forecasting, Order Management).

Deep functional / technical knowledge and experience of designing & developing capabilities within Configure-Price-Quote sales tools (e.

g. salesforce, Cloudsence CPQ)
