Working with a leading client in the Energy sector looking to bring in a Lead Cyber and Network Security Engineer to drive the digital side to support the company's sustainable growth.
You will be leading engineering Security Infrastructure solutions for on-premise, cloud and end user services for cloud systems (Azure) and Networking to build tools and security controls to address the risks and threats to our network and services while enabling our service delivery to remain agile and deliver feature changes.
You will deliver the solutions that directly contribute to our success.
What you will be doing :
Establish, monitor and maintain automated processes that aid in alert information enrichment and incident management
Work with other team members to identify control gaps and implement improvements to address Work with the Architects & Management team to identify new technical controls and implement within our environment
Maintain an awareness of new and emerging security technologies and threats
Be a mentor for more junior members of the Security Engineering team
Work through Incident Response should the need arise with the investigation and resolution of Security Incidents
Create and maintain operational procedures, configuration, and technical documentation to a high standard
Be a mentor for more junior members of the Security Engineering team
Requirements of the role :
Project delivery with security architecture & design experience for both cloud and on-premise environment
Strong hybrid (cloud / on premise) security skills
Strong Windows Server and / or Linux experience
Solid comprehension of Information Security including malware, new threats, attack vectors & techniques, and vulnerability management
Experience with End User Security controls : DLP, Web Filtering, IPS / IDS, Malware (Dark Trace, Crowdstrike, Microsoft Defender)
Strong hands on SIEM Tool configuration & management experience
Microsoft Azure AD Identity security controls
Ability to interact with Security control platforms via API and scripting to drive automation of action
Exposure to Devops / DevSecOps practices and tooling
