ER Specialist, Global Services, Technology & Corporate Functions

Why this role matters
The successful applicants will be responsible for the implementation of strategy through the design and delivery of projects that support the overall ER and business goals.
They will have the opportunity to work across complex, high profile projects, with multiple stakeholders. You will work with multiple teams and be responsible for stakeholder management, including Union and Employee Rep management.
What you'll be doing
Implementing projects and programmes to support unit people strategies, and delivery of the Group wide ER agenda.
Supporting and delivering the ER / IR elements of change activities and programmes determined by the business strategy.
Having regular communications and consultation with key representative bodies (CWU / Prospect unions, and Employee Forums / Reps).
Formulating Corporate HR policies and operational guidelines
Be recognised as a specialist in Employee Relations and take a proactive role in partnering with senior management across key areas within the business to support change initiatives.
Supporting HRBP’s and senior business leaders in developing their own skills and experience in dealing with unions / employee representatives
Regular engagement with stakeholders and functions such as Reward, Legal, and HR Services etc. to shape and support business impacting change programmes.
By exception, be a point of escalation for employees or their representatives on complex cases.
We'll also need to see these on your CV
Experience of ER and IR issues covering consultation and negotiation, working with trade unions / employee representatives
Good knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations / Experience of re-organisation / redundancy
Experience in design and implementation of HR policies and processes.
Experience of leading projects in a matrix organisation, with multiple stakeholders
Qualified in CIPD or equivalent
