Role Responsibility :

This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

We are looking for a Chef to join our team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, who will be responsible for ensuring food is prepared, stored and served in line with Government and Company food standards.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 06 : 30 - 14 : 30.

The successful candidate will be an innovative, creative and passionate foodie’, who is enthusiastic, motivational and someone who strives for excellence.

You will work well within a team and be organised and able to make robust judgements.

You will also have excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels, as well as a real passion for customer service and bags of enthusiasm, recognising that customer engagement is key.

The Ideal Candidate :

Essential Criteria :

  • City and Guilds or NVQ level 2 Qualification.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
  • Knowledge of COSSH.
  • Knowledge of Due Diligence and Allergen requirements.
  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
