Due to a promotion, Abbott Vascular (AV) is now recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Coronary (North UK) , to be responsible for the achievement of regional sales revenue, through the management and motivation of the regional sales team.
Key responsibilities include :
Directing regional team (sales and clinical specialists) to achieve short and long term sales targets and contributing to overall achievement of UK objectives
Recruit, develop and motivate regional team to achieve full potential, including HR responsibility for activities such as performance reviews and development planning
Management of existing and development relationships with key decision makers in key accounts
Setting of sales targets and objectives; responsible for regional sales data analytics and inputting to forecasting and plan process
Management of regional tenders, maximizing AV’s position in the marketplace
Responsibility for regional budget, working closely with leadership and AV finance
Support in the implementation of product launch programmes at the regional level
University Degree or equivalent preferred
Proven commercial experience, with a track record of sales success within medical devices, ideally within the vascular space
Understanding of a procurement driven environments, regulatory, medical and contracting functions
Ideally experience in a similar sales leadership position
Understanding of healthcare markets
Negotiation, presentation skills and high degree of computer literacy
