About the Consultant Manager position
Agile Solutions are seeking a Consulting Manager to be accountable for the delivery and sales functions within a key strategic account.
The Consulting Manager will closely with the Account Manager, Delivery Lead / s and other operations functions to support the growth and commercial plans for the account, while also ensuring that our delivery commitments to the client are honoured.
The Consulting Manager will help build credibility and nurture strong relationships with our new and existing clients by providing confidence and stability to any project deliveries we undertake.
The Consulting Manager will act as an escalation point above the Delivery Leads and will be involved in activities from pre-
sales through to delivery management and up / cross sell opportunity management. It is expected that the Consulting Manager will be billable on a part to full time basis to the Strategic Account, potentially managing multiple project outcomes and challenges.
Maintain close Client key stakeholder relationships with the overarching objective of building an appreciation of and alignment with the client's critical business goals, challenges and desired outcomes
Align closely with the relevant Account Managers to support the build of documented Sales Strategies leading to commercial success across accounts.
Validate opportunities are a right fit to Agile Solutions and that the viability of the opportunity will ensure both sales and commercial success
Take responsibility for time and delivery estimations through collaboration with the relevant Delivery Leads
Assist with the production of commercial documents including SoWs, RFPs, RFQs etc.
Handle Crisis Management from clients and items which are escalated beyond the Delivery Leads
Proactively identifying and managing relationship and value perception threats relevant to deliveries but which are outside of the scope of the Product Backlog, with support from the Delivery Lead / Consulting Director / Strategic Account Manager
Suggest and drive-through improvements to increase the likelihood of engagement success to the Delivery Lead / Consulting Director / Strategic Account Manager
Demonstrate Thought Leadership in the disciplines of Technology and Delivery in Information Management, as well as client-
related industry topics
Work with the client and relevant Strategic Account Managers to identify opportunities, driving these through to win business
Work with the Strategic Account Managers to increase Customer Lifetime Value
Direct experience of both pre-sales and delivery within scalable commercial environments in both new and existing client accounts
Experience within a large SI organization
10+ years technical Information Management experience
7+ years Portfolio or Programme Management experience overseeing a number of concurrent projects with diverse stakeholders
Proven experience in providing thought-leadership in Information Management
Strong architectural understanding of products related to one of the above areas or in depth technical certification of a product related to the above
Proven experience in multiple project deliveries with successful outcomes
Proven experience collaborating with customers, peers and partners to achieve successful project outcomes
Strong communication skills with high-level stakeholders; skilled at cross-functional and cross-organizational communication
Excellent presentation skills ability to present to large groups, obtain buy-in and convey complex approaches and ideas in a manner appropriate to the target audience.
Proven experience in growing client accounts or expanding scope of projects with stakeholder agreement
Advanced use of communication and metric reporting
Project / Programme Management experience of managing BI / DW / MDM / Cloud or Big Data delivery teams of above 5 people often in a multi team environment
