Job Summary :
To raise, support and investigate quality issues that arise within the field and co-ordinate actions effectively.
Job Responsibilities :
To investigate quality related issues reported through the customer concern process. (C360)
Carry out root cause investigations into customer returns, ensuring validated and robust corrective action(s) are implemented and maintained.
Facilitate and lead process improvements using a variety of Quality and Continuous Process Improvement tools, including but not limited to Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, FMEA, 8D, A3 etc.
Co-ordinate with the R&D team to ensure quick resolution of any issues.
Responsible for warranty - reduction, actions plans, tracking of current trends.
Work with the Technical and Procurement teams to ensure the proper deployment of Engineering Changes.
Support in reporting / completing of quality metrics monthly and filling out dashboard - including CONC, DPPM.
Have a right first time mindset.
Support NPI activities through ProLaunch and quality planning during the development and launch phases.
Basic knowledge of ISO9001 in association with site Quality Management System (QMS) and the Eaton QMS.
Conduct internal Quality Systems audits, and support with external audits, ensuring that any non-conformances are closed out in a timely fashion.
Liaise with Supplier Quality / Purchasing over any supply chain quality issues.
Assist with any other duties as required to support the business.
Education level required :
ONC level in engineering discipline (or equivalent) required.
Experience required :
3 years experience in an Operational environment would be preffered.
Technical knowledge :
Manufacturing industry experience
Quality improvement plan knowledge.
Strong competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
Soft skills :
Ability to describe technical issues in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written.
Ability to manage high-volume workload with multiple projects / activities.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
