Description

  • To carryout all warehouse operations in-line with work instructions, to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of warehouse related tasks including;
  • goods receipt, inventory movement, and dispatch.

  • As team leader your responsibility is to support a team of 4 warehouse operatives, to ensure the correct operation of all standard operating procedures in the section, to ensure your team completes processes;
  • safely, to the right quality, on time and efficiently. To ensure the cell achieves it's key objectives including capacity, cost, product quality, and customer service consistently.

    To support and promote strategies and initiatives within your team. Qualifications Qualifications, experience and skills

  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Previous warehouse / logistics environment experience
  • Certified FLT driver
  • Previous experience leading a team
  • Knowledge of lean principles including 5S and continuous improvement
  • Previous experience in computer based stock system
  • Word proficient
  • Good communications skills both written and oral
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Experience of inventory control
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Excellent Data entry skills
