The School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the School to lead modules and deliver teaching primarily on the BSc in Clinical Sciences programme.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in developing and delivering learning, teaching and assessment of the programme and work with colleagues in developing and enhancing the programme and at all time having a student centred approach.
The clinical sciences degree is orientated towards health professional postgraduate occupations and entry into medicine.
This unique BSc is a four-year programme, with around 400 students and attracts students from a range of backgrounds. The foundation year supports widening access route for medical school entry.
Currently some students progress out of the foundation year into a medical programme, but the majority continue the clinical sciences programme to graduation.
This post is 0.5 FTE for three years to cover a secondment, and we can be flexible with regards your work pattern.
