Founded in 2016 by food-lovers JP and Alex, allplants is an award-winning startup on a mission to accelerate the advent of a sustainable planet by building Earth’s most forward-thinking food company.

Our team of +100 cook, operate and create out of our HQ in Blackhorse Road, London, and we are one of only a handful of VC-backed B-Corps dedicated to leveraging venture-building growth principles to solve our generation's civil rights movement - the climate crisis.

You’ll have the chance to make a huge impact on growth for allplants, identifying and focusing on what you believe will deliver the greatest value.

This will include working on driving new customer acquisition and finding the right customers, at the right cost for us.

There are projects we'd love to launch which will involve you considering changes to our pricing model, and creative thoughts to further our proposition to drive more revenue.

  • We'll hope this work will create profitable behaviours from our existing customer base, and improving their retention. Really importantly, all of this amazing work should be based on customer insight;
  • understanding the problem we solve and who we solve it for.You will be reporting into Jenny Thwaites, our CGO. You can find out a bit more about her here.

    The salary for this role is based on our internal framework and is £45,000 to £52,000 depending on experience Pricing and Proposition

  • You have licence to think big. Is there a new way to frame allplants? A different price point or product bundle to test?
  • If you’ve got a customer insight that you think will increase revenue, you should make it happen. New Channel Tests

  • Review and add your own ideas to the list of new channel opportunities we have. Working with the Head of Performance marketing.
  • These might be paid channels, or they maybe partnerships, affiliates, or organic growth opportunities.

  • Take ownership of executing new channel tests. Briefing in creative requirements, refining targeting and reporting back on impact.
  • Messaging across the marketing funnel

  • Refine our marketing messaging & come up with ideas to drive conversion across each step of our customer journey. What works best as a hook to get people to our website?
  • How do we persuade them to try our food once they’re there?
  • What parts of the service should we highlight across the re-marketing journey? Organic Growth
  • Review and establish the role of refer a friend in our growth stack.
  • Help set our strategy for organic traffic growth via content marketing and SEO. Conversation Rate Optimisation
  • Match audiences and messaging. Right through from ad to landing page.
  • Test and learn which product benefits to surface for the best conversion rates. Build tests out yourself for speed, or work with others to implement if needed.
  • Be a driving force behind learning fast. Whether a test wins or loses, we value the knowledge. BI & Analytics
  • Using tools like Power BI, Looker, Google Analytics and Excel, you will analyse performance and feed learnings from Growth tests back into marketing strategy.
  • Connect our marketing choices back to customer lifetime value. This means thinking about questions like.... Do customers from one channel have a better retention rate than another?
  • How do discount codes impact customer behaviour? Do people want to shop a one-off box or subscribe? what you’ll need. We’re open-minded and believe smart driven people can learn fast.

    Must haves*

  • Comfortable with data. Highly analytical with a focus on making data-driven decisions to drive growth strategy, perhaps you even know some SQL to help make your analysis faster.
  • Curious. We are looking for someone who is always excited about learning something new.
  • A creative problem solver. A track record of driving continuous improvement - getting your ideas out there and finding the fastest and most efficient way of delivering results.
  • Proactive. Able to get things done fast. Willing to dig-in, research and find a way around any challenge autonomously when its needed.
  • Understands customer acquisition. You understand how to grow quality traffic through a mix of organic and paid advertising strategies and tactics, leveraging disciplines like social media, content marketing & lead generation, SEO, PPC, email marketing etc.
  • No one has in-depth knowledge of every single channel and marketing tool available. Tell us what you're an expert at!


  • Experience working in a D2C ecommerce
  • Comfortable with Power BI, Looker, or another BI tool
  • This role is about focusing on the things that will help allplants grow fastest. To be successful you'll need a balance between analytical skills and creativity, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset.

    Do I need to be vegan to work here? No, you don’t! We’re an open-minded bunch and welcome all diets from plant curious to raw foodist, as long as you resonate with our mission to inspire people to eat more plants! Where are you based?

    Our office, The Greenhouse, is based about 10-minute walk from Blackhorse Road station on the Victoria Line. What are your working hours?

    This varies between teams (for instance our chefs work in shifts which cover from 6am to 10pm, and our new nightshift will be structured to run for 8 hours across the evening) but our standard office hours are 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday.
