Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work full-time within a Community Locality Team based in Guildford.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

This pay rate for this locum Social Services Occupational Therapist is £26 - £30 per hour (Assignment rate).

Summary :

  • As an Occupational Therapist based in a Locality Team you will be given the opportunity to work with a variety of clients who have differing needs.
  • The clients we work with may experience a learning disability, physical or sensory impairment, mental health or be an older person.

  • You will be part of a multi skilled team which includes; social workers, occupational therapists, assistant social Care practitioners and reablement personnel.
  • As a team we provide support to vulnerable adults and their carers in a community based setting.

  • Part of your community based role requires you to carry out home visits within your locality area and on occasion travelling outside of the county.
  • Some of these settings include and clients homes , residential care and, nursing homes.

    Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist :

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Reablement experience
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
  • Must be a car driver
