JOB SUMMARY

You will be focused on the general administration duties to begin with, but we would also appreciate some help with the diary management and posting content onto social media channels, uploading new images to web profiles, so demonstrable experience in these areas is a big selling point that will help with your application.

You will work alongside the managing director and primarily but will also have access and guidance from the rest of the team where needed.

You will work closely with the director to help with the daily tasks within the business, assisting to run operations smoothly and the business to function as efficiently as possible.

To type up new written sales proposals using our templates

To email these out to prospective customers

Email the clients once jobs are completed for feedback and reviews

Create and update a supplier database so we can monitor prices for materials

Track KPIs and update the team accordingly

Assist with diary management, inputting jobs into a digital diary system so the team know where they should be.

Create and post content to social media

Take care of engagements and interactions on social media channels

SKILLS NEEDED

Be able to work independently

Manage own workload

Communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal

Proficient in Microsoft word and excel

Knowledge of canva, photoshop or creative programs beneficial

Good attitude

Open to learning and is teachable

Desired qualifications :

A Levels (A E) or equivalents

GCSEs (A C) Maths, English, other

Preferred candidates will be educated to GCSE / A Level, and have good IT / Digital skills

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT

We will monitor attendance and performance closely.

Our Gateway organisation, 1626 Ltd t / a Business Doctors, will provide training to cover areas including attendance, time keeping, communication, teamwork, travelling to work, CV and interview preparation, and support to look for long term employment.

The training will be delivered via Zoom across the 6 months of the Kickstart placement.
