We are expanding our Project Management Team to build on its ongoing success, working in an award winning multi-disciplinary consultancy on rich and varied projects.

We are seeking a passionate and focused Associate Project Manager who is looking to progress their career, who has a desire and ability to further grow our business, whilst working in a supportive team within the London office, but also in the Project Management discipline across our business nationwide.

The Project Management discipline within Ridge works across a rich variety of sectors with world leading blue chip clients, world beating sporting teams and some of the best academic research institutes.

As the Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of Project Management services to clients across various sectors and project stages.

We will support you to develop your career and find the right path to suit your needs.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist with leading and managing the Project Management team
  • Manage clients and develop further opportunities
  • Be part of business development forums such as Sector Groups and / or across the London region
  • Link into the Project Management Discipline across all offices
  • Look to grow the group on the back of new and repeat clients
  • Establish detailed Client’s brief and responsibilities of consultants and specialists
  • Establish lines of communication and reporting procedures with the client and within the design team
  • Arrange feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
  • Advise on / implement the selection and appointment of all necessary consultants and specialists
  • Prepare and maintain the master programme for all pre and post contract activities and monitor progress
  • Manage finances from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasts, monitoring project expenditure, and recommendations of payments by client, as well as internal budget and resourcing
  • Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project inspection, scheduling and acceptance of works required under the defects liability and maintenance provisions of the contract
  • Experience and Skills Required

  • Consultancy construction project management experience
  • The ability to lead a series of projects and Client relationships including business development
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and particularly MS Project is essential
  • Providing advice in all sectors our clients are leaders in their fields. That’s why, as the key point of contact, your high level of communication skills and commercial awareness will be essential.
