A rapidly growing, market-leading HR, Legal and H&S professional services business are recruiting a Group Communications Director who will lead a new-look communications, brand and content team.
With the ability to work from home and the company embracing a flexible working policy, they are looking for a senior marketing communications professional who has the ability to manage, develop and inspire teams remotely.
The business is private-equity backed and on an ambitious growth plan from circa £100 million to £400 million over the next four years.
This is being supported through acquisition and a major investment in marketing communications via headcount, software, and tools to help drive organic growth.
The new-look communications, brand and content team will be responsible for driving earned brand presence and supporting the sales team through engaging content marketing, PR, analyst relations, internal communications etc.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include :
Design, deliver and evaluate a Brand, Communication, Creative and Content strategy aligned to the overall business strategy.
Manage, develop and inspire brand and communications teams by leading from the front.
Conduct a full content audit, recommend and implement a new centralised tone of voice, brand guidelines and content management system.
Implement measurement, tracking and analysing methodology to track campaigns and their ROI.
Design and launch an internal communications strategy that ensures colleagues are informed, engaged, and empowered to share ideas and successes with the wider business.
Set and deliver a media and PR strategy that identifies and targets key media and journalists. Also, ensure a crisis communications plan is in place and kept updated.
Work with the group digital team to develop the corporate social media strategy.

Experience leading and developing teams
Significant experience developing, measuring and evaluating strategy across corporate communications, content marketing and internal communications
Digital publishing or content experience in a B2B / B2C environment
Media and PR contacts across trade and Tier 1 media
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
