  • ScotlandContractThe Role : As part of a team, assist the Well Engineering Manager in the management of operated and non-operated wells related activities within the BU;
  • to ensure compliance with Well Engineering Management Standard (WEMS), HSE Risk Management Standard, Government Regulations and local industry guidelines / best practices with due regards for health, safety and the environment.

  • e. HSE, OGA, OPRED, O&GUK etc.).Provide oversight and support for both operated and non-operated well activities. Specifically for Health & Safety issues : Complete all necessary Permits & Notifications;
  • Specifically all Interface / Bridging Documents;Produce well specific HSE plans for all operations;Visit / Audit well locations (i.

    e. drilling rigs, vessels);Lead well specific HAZOP or Risk Assessments;Support the wells team in the investigation, reporting and analysis of incidents.

    Develop and maintain BU Safety Management Systems, including Drilling, HSES and functional Systems / Procedures / Processes.

    Support all Well Operations, including attending all relevant meetings such as risk assessments and daily calls. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to reduce Risks and improve Health & Safety Performance.

    Set well specific HSE targets (i.e. KPI scores) and assist with the establishment of the practice of continuous improvement through auditing.

    Provide drive and vision to maintain ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditation within WEMS.Be proactive and take an active lead in the analysis of performance trends, identify areas that require improvement and define action plans to achieve those improvements.

    Provide Health & Safety support to Supply Chain for the management of our service providers and their Contracts. This shall include other departments within the BU as required.

    Assist in compiling of Health and Safety performance reports for EOWR's and monthly, quarterly or annual Asset or BU review meetings.

    Collate and provide updates on an annual basis to the Well Engineering Management Standard (WEMS).Relevant degree preferred, but appropriate training & development with a known Operator acceptable (preferred 10 years industry experience with 5 year Operator).

    NEBOSH Diploma or working toward Diploma (Minimum of NEBSOH Certificate).Member of IOSH or working towards membership (Chartered Membership preferred).

    Medical and all relevant certification / training to allow offshore travel UK North Sea
