We are looking for a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Administration Team Supervisor to join the administration team at the SGN Glasgow office.
What does a SHE Admin Team Supervisor do? You will have an understanding of SGN business and a good understanding or some background in safety.
You must be able to communicate effectively and politely, both verbally and in writing, with employees, managers and stakeholders internal or externally, providing excellent levels of customer service at all times.
You must be a good team worker and work within a larger SHE team. This role will involve managing a small administration team based in the Glasgow office.
You must be capable of working to tight deadlines and responding to changing priorities at short notice. The work will involve monthly management information, including process safety measures, safety performance and environmental statistics.
You will have responsibility to delivery Performance Reports to the business, including high level Board reports. You will manage the key processes of the team, including a third party on-
line mapping service (web portal) and a business incident hotline; ensuing the team are delivering a high standards of service and improving performance.
There will additionally be some organisational and prioritising tasks that will require you to communicate effectively with all levels of managements and departments within SGN.
Do you have what we are looking for? A manager with attention to detail, you will be computer literate, competent in Microsoft software packages such as Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
The ideal candidate will have passion for safety, health or environment, have a relevant qualification or is willing to work towards one.
Be able to demonstrate they have excellent management, people management and organisational skills. The manager must have excellent communication skills.
It is important that you are able to self-motivate, time manage and problem solve, and be able to performance manage the team.
