An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team in North West and North Central London.
This is ideal for someone looking to develop their skill in palliative care. You will work alongside a Clinical Nurse Manager as well as other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated and co-
ordinated service that delivers care and support to people with terminal illnesses whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.
This Registered Nurse role will have the opportunity to work in the Rapid Response Service, delivering care to multiple patients overnight.
Hours are 6pm to 7am or 6pm-11 : 30pm, 11 : 00pm to 7am, In addition you will work in the Planned Variable Service where you will be with the patient in their home over night, hours 10pm to 7am.
The successful applicant must be a confident Registered Nurse and have experience in caring for those with a terminal illness.
You will be expected to provide a high level of palliative care for patients as well as offering support to families, within North West and North Central London.
Using evidence-based practice to develop and maintain high quality, you will work collaboratively in the assessment and evaluation of patient care.
You will need to be able to work independently to deliver care according to the patient’s needs, care plan and be able to use your own initiative to enable palliative care patients to stay in their own home.

Due to the nature of the role you must have a willingness to travel, you will need to hold a full driving licence and have the use of a car with Business Insurance.
You will be expected to travel to and from your patient (up to 25 miles) to start your shift on time at a patient’s home at 10pm and finish at 7am.
The successful candidate will need to be competent with basic IT skills and have access to a Computer and internet, (which will be required to meet mandatory training requirements) therefore is essential.
