About the Role This is an essential role at the practice, providing an efficient, comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the practice management team.
The main responsibilities of the role include :
To provide efficient typing and word processing service for the Practice Manager, GPs and Health Professionals involving typing of letters, reports, patient referrals in an accurate and timely and quality manner.
To schedule, compile and record patient information relevant to medical consultations with healthcare clinicians and associated medical correspondence.
To facilitate and help manage requests for SARs as per GDPR legislation.

You will have the following skills and experience :
Strong audio and touch typing skills;
Administrative experience and good organisation skills;
Sound knowledge of medical terminology;
Proficiency in the MS Office package as well as excellent IT skills and experience of working with a clinical system;
Excellent communication skills and a friendly approach;
Ability to understand the need to maintain confidentiality and data security at all times;
Ability to multi-task and to work accurately under pressure;
Ability to work in a team as well as being comfortable working independently.
