Band 4 Patient Pathway Administrator

Specialist Surgery

Full time - 37.5 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Administrator within Specialist Surgery within the NOTSSCaN Division.

The post holder will need to have strong administrative skills that underpin the patient journey, supporting clinical teams in delivering high quality patient care and making a real difference to the patient experience.

You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. You will need to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach and be able to work in a pressurised and busy environment.

The post involves providing full administrative support to consultants, their teams and patients including typing of correspondence, dealing with email and telephone enquiries, managing outpatient clinics, diagnostic and inpatient waiting timesand taking responsibility for managing the whole patient pathway in line with the Elective Access policy.

Knowledge of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and knowledge of elective access standards would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

This position requires the demonstration of strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as being a team member.
